Raymond Lee, Chief Executive Officer, Greater China, Savills gave encouragement to the members of Runners Club at their first session, “You do not have anything to lose once you step foot on the running track. This is an opportunity to share an experience with colleagues outside of the office - an opportunity for colleagues to meet their goals and encourage one another to keep getting better.”

Peter Yuen, Deputy Managing Director, Savills who initiated the formation of the Runners Club and is a keen runner himself, revealed, “Health is more important than money. Running is a sport which can be done on your own or with a group of friends or family.  I believe many of our colleagues want to integrate more activities into their hectic schedules, but means to do so need to be available.  I was delighted at the enthusiastic response to this initiative from colleagues and they all seem to be enjoying the sessions. Running may also enhance their work productivity! I sincerely thank RunOurCity for designing such a wonderful training course. We are now half way through the training, with the last three sessions taking place on circuits from Central Pier to Happy Valley, University of Hong Kong and the Peak.”

Peter Yuen continued “In terms of our work off the running track and in the office, although large deal transactions are comparatively lower this year, the commission revenue reached two-thirds of that of last year. The revenue in the first quarter is the highest ever. We can only thank our colleagues for all their hard work. I hope everyone can bring the endurance and hard work they build on the running track to their future work! ”
