The development combined with the opening of the cruise terminal and the further discussion on the monorail concept, has made industrial buildings in Kwun Tong a lot more attractive to investors. With the resources provided by the government, Kwun Tong has transformed from purely being an industrial area into a core commercial and tourism area. Developers, who have benefited from these projects, continue to invest resources into redeveloping the area in order to bring in more commercial activities. This continues to greatly improve the whole environment. Hotels and offices have been completed in quick succession, resulting in the whole environment has improving dramatically. All these factors combined with the existing excellent transport network, has enhanced the attractiveness of the area drastically.’
