Local HNWI snaps up King Street landmark

20 June 2019

A local High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) has purchased a vacant three storey office building in the Sydney CBD for $16 million from the Shanghai based Dahua Group.

25 King Street, which is on the corner of King and Sussex Street, has a Net Lettable Area (NLA) of 969sq m and sits on a 278sq m site. The building’s façade is heritage listed and was sold by Andy Hu and Jordan Lee of Savills Australia.

According to Mr Hu, Joint State Head of Asia Markets at Savills Australia, the vendors have recently spent $7.4 million on extensive building refurbishments and the building’s prominent corner location benefits from high pedestrian and vehicular traffic and the roof top terrace boasts views of Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay.

“This is a landmark boutique building which offers a vast selection of open workspaces, function areas, timber and stone floors throughout and three sides of natural light with amazing water views.”
