- Hong Kong trade performance improves with the values of total exports and imports of goods increasing by 9.2 and 18.7 per cent in December 2009 respectively. However, figures for the whole of 2009 still posted a decline of 12.6 and 11 per cent respectively, and total exports have hit a record post-1953 low
- Overall godown rents increased by 1.6 per cent, while modern godown rents rose by 5 per cent over the quarter, refl ecting the demand for high-quality buildings
- After the Government announced the “Revitalisation of Industrial Buildings†measures, many landlords increased asking prices or simply held back stock from the market, leading to a decrease in the number of transactions

- Lai Sun and Billion Development pay land premiums of HK$215.65 million and HK$443.53 million for 4 Shung Shun Street in Yau Tong and 133 Hoi Bun Road in Kwun Tong respectively
